Captain / Skipper
Carlos Sanchez is an experienced high seas captain, born in Guayaquil from a low income family that moved to the Galapagos Islands looking for a better life. He found his passion for the sea early on as a fisherman with 12 years old. Carlos has an extensive experience in fishing, navigation, and various maritime roles, he now captains the Alya catamaran at Galagents. He is dedicated to his profession and family, valuing respect, hard work, and honesty.

There are 4 main deck twin/double cabins with private balconies and 4 upper deck twin/double cabins with private balconies. Each cabin is equipped with an ensuite bathroom. As an amenity, every Serandipian traveler onboard receives 187ml bottles of wine and a small fruit basket in their cabin.

Corporate and celebration events
There are opportunities to request full or half charters (16 or 8 guests) for private events, corporate trips, and leisure trips. All of them are subject to the regulations of the Galapagos National Park, so cruise journeys and visit sites cannot be changed.
