History & Story
Jayavarman is considered the ‘father’ of Heritage Line’s unique ship collection. This ship blends 1930’s Art Deco with French-Colonial Khmer designs and accents. The ship hosts many framed objects d’art and other artefacts creating an ambiance of a floating art gallery. All 27 rooms have private balconies and are outfitted with delicate furnishings. Jayavarman’s has been completely refurbished by the end of 2023. The new highlight is the re-modeled restaurant “Indochina Dining Hall” featuring now an open kitchen and enjoying seating facility. Complete with a dedicated sun deck with pool, an inviting “Club 1930 Bar-Lounge”, a comfortable indoor “Henry Mouhot” lobby lounge, a “Apsara Spa, this ship ‘Jayavarman’ pays homage to the most renowned Cambodian monarch, King Jayavarman VII, known for his tranquility and love for artistic creations and the Khmer people.

Heritage Line JAYAVARMAN has 14 Superior (20sqm), 11 Deluxe Staterooms (23sqm) and 2 Signature Suites (27sqm). All cabins have a private balcony and each cabin category comes with a unique interior design theme.
• SUPERIOR STATEROOM: Located on the ship’s main deck, these rooms are adorned with white wood furniture and subtle art decorations. Each room boasts a private balcony, ideal for admiring the breath-taking views of the Mekong River, and a bathroom featuring an antique vanity and spacious shower. • DELUXE STATEROOM: Positioned on the ship’s upper deck, each room features a private balcony, offering a space to appreciate the river views. Decorated with warm tones, wood furniture, and Khmer decoration, these rooms create a relaxing atmosphere.

• SIGNATURE SUITES: Located at the very front of the ship, these suites provide balconies facing the sailing direction. The rooms are designed with Khmer artwork and the historic vibe of Vietnamese artifacts. Tea and coffee facility etc. Only in the suites: LCD screen and movie entertainment system, dedicated Butler service and more.

The ship’s restaurant, « INDOCHINA DINING HALL, » underwent a complete redesign in 2023, now offering a range of seating options that combine to create a cosy atmosphere. Enjoying its abundant natural light, the restaurant features an open kitchen where live cooking enhances the dining experience. Guests can enjoy their meals from buffet spreads or opt for à la carte selections during evening dinners, with optional courses available.
Adjacent to the restaurant is the roofed open-air bar, « CLUB 1930 BAR & LOUNGE. » This comfortable U-shaped facility provides a relaxed setting for pre and post-dinner drinks and casual conversation, complemented by the bar seating lounge adorned with plush sofas.

Onboard facilities include a spa, jacuzzi pool and morning Tai Chi lessons.
