History & Story
Loy Pela Voyages offer luxurious private cruises along Thailand’s majestic Chao Phraya River. The boat sails from the kingdom’s new capital – Bangkok – to the old capital – Ayutthaya – on a journey back through time.
Each cruise follows in the footsteps of Kings Taksin, Rama III or Rama V, stopping at significant sites in each period of history. Guests are invited to immerse in local culture, making merit with monks, learning the history of palaces, and trying their hand at Thai cuisine.
The onboard experience is without parallel, with elegant staterooms each with ensuite, a private chef preparing all meals and afternoon tea, and a full suite of staff to attend to every need.

Our itineraries were designed following the footsteps of Kings Taksin, Rama III, and Rama V, traveling up north to Ayutthaya or down south to Pattaya. Our experiences connect our guests with the place and the culture, help them to explore more, and dive beneath the surface.

No children Corner. Children under 14 are allowed to join cruises with the written consent form of their parents. Parental supervision is required at all times. Staff is not responsible for children’s supervision during the cruise.

Loy River Song boasts four air-conditioned staterooms that vary in size from 27 sqm – to just over 36sqm. Rooms Nan and Yom have a private hallway with a connecting sliding door if families would like to stay together. Each room is elegantly appointed and modern with soothing accents. The softest of linens and freshly cut flowers add to the dreamy ambiance.
Each ensuite bathroom features Jim Thompson bathrobes, slippers, and a choice of herbal soaps. Two of the staterooms of this Thailand river cruise have river views so you can watch life unfold from the comfort of your bed.
