Hotel General Manager
Aaron Kaupp joined Raffles the Palm Dubai as Managing Director in February 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in the luxury hospitality industry to Dubai’s premier beachfront palace.
Prior to joining Raffles, Kaupp was based in London with Jumeirah, as General Manager of The Jumeirah Carlton Tower and Regional Vice President for Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts in the UK. Kaupp also previously served as the General Manager of Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, where his strategic
initiatives resulted in significant accolades, such Condé Nast recognising the hotel as the 7th best hotel in the world.
In addition to his roles in London and Paris, Kaupp has held leadership positions with industry-leading brands, such as Belmond’s Villa San Michele in Florence, as well as working closely with Italian Fashion Designer Giorgio Armani to open and manage the Armani Hotel in Milan.
Kaupp has been recognised on numerous occasions for his incredible service delivery and expertise, including the Luxury Travel Advisor Awards’ “Best General Manager of a Luxury Hotel / Resort Worldwide”. He is also a member of the European Hotel Managers Association.

2,500 sqm of 24-carat gold leaf was used to decorate the lobby, public areas, higher categories suites and villas. Grand Foyer chandelier consist of 40,000 Swarovski crystals. The hotel has in-house furniture curator, who is keeping all items at their shine and creating bespoke items for guests. Precious natural stone Rosa Portugalo dating 300 million years was used to embellish the interrior. Italian furniture by Francesco Molon in rooms and public areas.

The hotel is offering an edu-tainment program brought to life by the Children Butlers, encouraging little guests to explore the true spirit of the place and cultural details of the destination. Upon their arrival, The Young Voyagers receive an explorer bag including a travel journal that they will document their memorable adventures.
