Shebara Resort is one of the most iconic properties within The Red Sea destination, developed by Red Sea Global as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 tourism transformation. Located on the pristine Sheybarah Island, the resort is designed to offer an immersive luxury experience surrounded by untouched coral reefs, turquoise lagoons, and dramatic natural landscapes.
The resort is globally recognized for its striking architectural concept: futuristic stainless-steel villas that appear to float above the water, reflecting the sea and sky. Designed by Killa Design, the architectural studio behind the Museum of the Future in Dubai, the villas blend advanced engineering with organic inspiration from the surrounding marine environment.
Sustainability is central to the resort’s identity. Shebara uses renewable energy through one of the region’s largest off-grid solar farms supported by battery storage systems. Every aspect of the development has been carefully planned to minimize environmental impact while protecting the surrounding coral reefs, marine life, and natural habitats.

The futuristic minibar is fully complimentary and opens at the press of a button, akin to a spaceship opening its doors. This is a little quirk that Shebara’s guests tend to find incredibly amusing. An undeniable insta-moment.
As part of the Red Sea’s dark skies initiative, the island is very dimly lit so as not to interfere with the surrounding wildlife. This also makes for incredible stargazing.
