A wilderness camp situated on the fringes of India’s Ranthambore National Park, Aman-i-Khás provides accommodation in eleven Mughal-inspired guest tents, a refreshing step-well swimming pool and separate tents for dining, spa treatments and lounging. Twice-daily, guided safari excursions are offered into the Park to spot indigenous game, including elusive tigers, leopards, hyenas, sloth bears, crocodiles, and chital deer.

The luxurious air-conditioned tents are positioned to ensure utmost privacy, and each tent offers soaring living spaces decorated with classic furnishings, a light-filled bathing area featuring a free-standing bathtub and shower, and a living room with twin writing desks.

The domain of the majestic Bengal tiger, Ranthambore National Park with its green and gold hues, is the perfect backdrop to Aman-i-Khás. Surrounded by the starkly beautiful Aravalli Hills, the camp provides unrivalled access to the region’s ancient forts, colourful rural villages and the wilderness. Native vegetation and indigenous trees surround the camp, and a watering hole is situated nearby – ideal for viewing small game.

• Dining Tent – Softly lit and furnished with one large central table and several smaller tables, the dining tent serves Indian cuisine and a range of Western dishes, with most of the vegetables and herbs grown in the camp’s organic garden.
• Firepit – At the heart of the camp, the open-air fire pit is surrounded by comfortable seating with views of the surrounding forest, offering an ideal setting for informal meals or evening drinks.
Wellness
• Modelled on the ancient step-wells traditional to the area, the pool is surrounded by a sunny terrace with loungers sheltered by a grove of trees.
• The heated spa tent has two treatment areas, each with twin massage tables, surrounding a small fountain. Treatments include massages, scrubs, wraps, baths, mindfulness sessions and traditional Ayurveda.
