History & Story
The hotel opened in May, 2023 in TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER, Shinjuku’s latest landmark skyscraper, standing approximately 225 meters high with 48 stories above ground, five basement levels and a one-story penthouse, inclusive of hotels and entertainment facilities such as a cinema, theatre and live venue. Its exterior was designed by internationally renowned female architect Yuko Nagayama based on the motif of “water”. Occupying the uppermost floors of TOKYU KABUKICHO TOWER, the hotel is an intimate hideaway whose Zen-like, minimalist interiors contrast with the neon-bedazzled neighborhood at its feet. Renowned for its graceful luxury and sincere hospitality, the Pan Pacific brand prides itself on delivering personalized and thoughtful experiences with service from the heart.
Date Renovation
Newly opened on 19th May, 2023.
Main Strengths, Special Touch
The hotel is capped by five penthouse suites, three restaurants and a bar, and a spa — collectively called the Sky Private Villa — whose quiet, contemplative spaces are a respite from the bustle of Shinjuku below. The five generously sized penthouses, each inspired by a different element of nature, seem to float in the sky 200 meters above Tokyo. Residential in style, each is outfitted with spacious kitchens and living areas, and laid out to take advantage of both sunlight and nighttime views. Especially, the largest penthouse suite, sora (“sky”) spans 277 sq.m. and features a private treatment room for two and a whirlpool tub positioned for striking city views.
