History & Story
The InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa faces the main island of Bora Bora and the majestic Mount Otemanu, and is perfectly placed to provide guests the best of Bora Bora: spectacular views, luxury overwater villas, lush tropical gardens, private white-sandy beaches and a wide range of water sports and activities.
This 5-star resort was the first hotel in French Polynesia to place all its accommodation on the water: standing on stilts between the ocean and the lagoon, 80 spacious villas measuring from 95 to 140 sqm, including terraces and 10 with a private pool + 4 new exclusive Brando Suites Bora Bora of 322 sqm with pool. The resort offers extreme luxury – but without the ostentation
Recreational facilities at InterContinental Resort & Thalasso Spa Bora Bora include a fitness room, Turkish bath and outdoor pool. Deep Ocean Spa offers treatments using ocean water to restore the body’s minerals.
Guests at Le Reef Restaurant can dine on the terrace overlooking the lagoon or inside the air-conditioned dining room. Le Sands Bar and Restaurant is on the resort’s private beach. Le Corail gourmet restaurant offers an exclusive gastronomic experience and is ranked n°1 in Bora Bora.
The resort opened in 2006 and occupancy and revenue has been a success story for the past 12 years.
