A graduate of the University of Arts in Cairo, Seif began his hospitality career in 2001. He rose through Food & Beverage leadership roles in Doha before joining The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, where he spent over eight years as Director of Banquets. His journey continued with Six Senses Maldives and Raffles Singapore before moving to Vietnam in 2015 as Director of F&B at InterContinental Danang. He was promoted to Resort Manager, then General Manager in 2019.
Seif holds an MBA from EHL Hospitality Business School (2022–2024), formerly École hôtelière de Lausanne — one of the world’s leading institutions for hospitality management.
Key Role: As General Manager, Seif leads all operational and strategic initiatives, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, commercial performance and global brand positioning.

History & Story
Since 2012, InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has redefined luxury hospitality in Vietnam. Nestled between jungle-clad mountains and Bai Bac Bay, it gained early acclaim for its visionary design and world-class service.
In 2013, the resort hosted Vietnam’s largest hotel buy-out for a summit of 100+ VIPs, including billionaires and business leaders, with 19 private jets arriving for the event. In 2015, it staged a four-day wedding celebration for high-profile couple Brian and Jocelin, attended by ASEAN dignitaries.
In 2016, three-Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire became culinary director at La Maison 1888, bringing international recognition. In 2017, the resort hosted the 25th APEC Summit, welcoming heads of government from 21 nations.
In 2018, the 500m² Bai Bac Bay Villa debuted with three bedrooms and pools, setting a new luxury benchmark. During the pandemic in 2020, the resort underwent a major refresh including gardens, interiors and team development.
A new era began in 2022 with expanded villas, Mi Sol Spa, a Yoga Pavilion, updated dining, retail experiences and a revamped Club InterContinental Lounge.
In June 2024, La Maison 1888 earned its first MICHELIN Star, coinciding with the arrival of Chef Christian Le Squer. Later that year, modern Japanese restaurant Tingara opened, led by Michelin-starred Chef Junichi Yoshida, cementing the resort’s reputation as a regional culinary leader.
Today, the resort continues to offer extraordinary experiences for discerning travellers worldwide.
