InterContinental Hayman Island Resort unveils a new era of immersive luxury in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef. Nestled at the northernmost point of Australia’s Whitsunday archipelago, Hayman Island is the nearest Whitsunday Island to the outer reef, including the world-famous Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach. One of only four islands in the Whitsundays to offer resort accommodation, Hayman Island is Australia’s most iconic private island resort. Commanding magnificent views south across the Coral Sea, Hayman Island is 294 hectares (726 acres) in area, 8 kilometres (5 miles) in circumference and is perfectly positioned on a two-kilometre crescent-shaped stretch of stunning white sand beach. Amici Trattoria offers the warmth of Italian cuisine with a wood-fire pizza oven, theatrical chefs plating up dishes before their eyes and a dedicated kids’ menu. Shared pizzas, generous plates of handmade pastas and a modern drinks menu led by Australian led Italian varietal wines.
Bam Bam serves up zesty Pan-Asian food infused with a fresh Australian twist. Located next to Infinity Pool, wok-tossed noodles and sugarcane juices are packed with punchy flavours that tempt patrons back time and time again.
Aqua – Positioned on the edge of the iconic Hayman Pool, offering easy-to-share seafood dishes, seasonal salad bowls and tropical classics including zesty ice pops, fresh juices and cocktails.
