Prior to joining Shangri-La, Tokyo, he was GM of the JW Marriott group and before that GM at the Sheraton Hotel (2014) and Hotel Manager at the St. Regis (2011). A native of Zurich, Switzerland, Mr. Sutter first studied architecture before indulging his passion for hospitality. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality at the Hotel Management School Belvoirpark Hotelfachschule Zürich and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Zürich Graduate School of Business.
