Six Senses Kyoto will open on the 23rd of April 2024, the first Six Senses property in Japan. It will provide unparalleled experience replete with cutting-edge wellness and feel-good spa facilities, an innovative dining concept, and fascinating local adventures.

Natural, earthy design concept with fun & quirky touch, inspired by the aesthetics and culture of Heian period and Japanese folklore, Moon Rabbit & the 11th century classic Tale of Genji. Dedicated sustainability-related experience facilities (Earth Lab and Alchemy Bar), plastic free concept. Renowned Six Senses Spa: Japanese hot baths, Watsu Pool (First and only dedicated Watsu Pool in Kyoto), Biohack Recovery Lounge, holistic spa treatment private rooms. Fun & Quirky concept includes flipping wall at guestroom which is ideal for kids to play and create own art.
Fox Mask lamp in front of each guestroom, different face design, made of washi Japanese paper and also functions as Do not Disturb sign.
Chojugiga, said to be the oldest animal cartoon (Manga) written in the 12th to 13th century.
