Ms. Raymonde Tinirauarii Ganivet brings extensive hospitality experience, having worked at Tahiti’s Intercontinental, Sheraton, and Sofitel Maeva Beach, before joining the Ivory Sofitel in Abidjan as Accommodations Manager. After eight years, she returned to Polynesia, working at Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resort, then becoming General Manager of Vahine Private Island in 2025. Her goal: ensure every guest enjoys an unforgettable stay, rooted in authentic Polynesian hospitality.

History & Story
Acquired in 2025 by Pearl Resorts of Tahiti, Vahine Private Island perpetuates the singular soul that has always defined its legend. Like a natural pearl shaped by the elements, it captivates with its preserved authenticity and unspoiled beauty. Under new stewardship, whose primary ambition is to protect the Polynesian spirit of the place, the hotel invites guests into a heartfelt immersion, lived in deep harmony with the natural world.
Date Renewal
In 2025–2026, Vahine Private Island introduced thoughtful enhancements to deepen the connection with the motu, including new lagoon-edge and reef-level platforms, perfect for dining above the water or quietly contemplating the horizon.
Date added extensions
At first, only the Tuvahine islet was developed
• 1992: Tohonu Bar and 3 beachfront bungalows

Extra Notable Features
• Vahine Private Island also offers the opportunity to practice golf. There is a plot of land covering approximately 1 hectare that is entirely dedicated to this activity, along with all the necessary equipment.
