History & Story
Family brand company since 1810, now Family Sanoner is at the 5° and 7° generation of ownership and management. Without “ADLER” there could be no “AKI” – the Sanoner family stands behind the family hotel in the Dolomites, who have been offering extraordinary holiday experiences in unique locations with their ADLER Spa Resorts & Lodges for decades. The AKI Family Resort PLOSE keeps the ADLER promise: A feeling of lightness that inspires young and old.
Klaus Sanoner is a South Tyrolean entrepreneur and co-leader of the ADLER Spa Resorts & Lodges, a luxury hospitality brand with roots dating back to 1810 in Ortisei, Val Gardena. Alongside his brother Andreas, Klaus represents the sixth generation of the Sanoner family in the business. Under their leadership since the 1980s, ADLER has evolved into a pioneer in wellness tourism, introducing one of the first spa resorts in the Alpine region. The Sanoner brothers expanded the brand across Italy, opening new resorts in Tuscany, the Dolomites, and Sicily—each designed with a focus on sustainability, natural materials, and integration with the landscape. Klaus Sanoner is known for maintaining a strong balance between family tradition, innovation, and environmentally conscious hospitality.

AKI Family Resort PLOSE is set in a privileged location, surrounded by unspoiled nature above Brixen/Bressanone, in the heart of South Tyrol. It is just 7 minutes from the valley station of the Plose cable car, the gateway to the Plose ski and hiking area, ideal for families both in winter and summer. In just 15 minutes, guests can also reach the historic center of Brixen, the region’s charming bishop’s town full of culture, art, and Alpine character.

Children’s Corner
Our “daycare centre” is designed for babies and toddlers as young as 30 days old. Every day from 09:00 to 21:00, a qualified team welcomes little protégés and offers loving all-round care. Natural and high-quality materials ensure a safe, comfortable and stimulating ambience. The AKI daycare centre is equipped with baby toys made from natural materials and wood, crawling and play islands, playhouses and painting tables for small children. Even outside the daycare centre, everything has been thought of. Whether pots, baby food and milk powder or children’s chairs, bibs and potties: You can certainly find whatever is missing in your luggage at the 24 h-Baby-Bar and throughout the resort. Feel comfortable from day one: In our family and baby hotel in South Tyrol we take this literally.
Even the youngest guests enjoy “wellness”, soothing calm and relaxation thanks to baby massages, baby swimming courses and splashing sessions in warm water. In the AKI Hotel with childcare in South Tyrol we take children by the hand and show them more than just a glittering play world. Entertainment and learning combine seamlessly, with a preference for outdoors, whenever possible.
