History & Story
Aman Sveti StefanIn Montenegro, a country famed for its beauty, the fortified islet of Sveti Stefan is one of the most iconic destinations on the Adriatic coast. Linked to the mainland by a narrow isthmus, the private island solace of Sveti Stefan is graced with carefully restored 15th-century stone cottages, providing exclusive accommodation. Across the bay, Villa Miločer, a grand residence, rests on the mainland and boasts an intimate collection of private rooms.

Last restoration was done in 2012 when Aman Resorts took over managing of Sveti Stefan island. Only minor changes have been done on the exterior, due to historical imporance of the island. Cliff Pool and Family’s Pool by Arva Restaurant were added in this period, and interior was adjusted to Aman standards keeping the original, rustic feeling, designed by Jean Michel Gathy.
