Roberto García, founder and CEO, has extensive experience in hotel management, specializing in Spa and Wellness destinations. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with several prominent hotel groups in Spain, developing a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
A few decades ago, Roberto and his siblings inherited a 12th-century Mudéjar convent in Olmedo, Valladolid, which was in a state of ruin. This inheritance marked the beginning of an inspiring project: the restoration of historical buildings to bring them back to life. This first endeavour sparked the vision of creating a family-owned and operated hotel collection, dedicated to preserving heritage while offering luxurious experiences.
Roberto’s leadership is characterized by his enthusiasm and passion, which he consistently shares with his team, fostering a culture of commitment and excellence.
Hotel General Manager – Andrés Mena is an experienced hotelier with a passion for delivering unparalleled luxury and a steadfast commitment to service excellence. With over a decade of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, he has worked at some of the most prestigious properties in the world, including Leading Hotels of the World icons such as The Landmark London, Kozmo Hotel Budapest, and The Beaumont Mayfair.
Currently serving as General Manager of Castilla Termal Brihuega, Andrés continues to elevate the guest experience with his exceptional leadership and dedication to perfection. Renowned for his meticulous attention to detail, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to transform ordinary guest experiences into extraordinary ones, creating memorable moments and tailored experiences where each guest feels uniquely valued and cared for.

History & Story
Castilla Termal Brihuega (Guadalajara) is set in the old1 8th Century Real Fábrica de Paños (Royal Clothing Factory) in a unique, round building, which gives all its rooms views of either the town or the valley that surrounds it. Its restoration and refurbishment as a luxury hotel in a destination known as the Spanish Provence, has been a milestone in the travel sector and is hugely anticipated.
Date Renewal
The Royal Cloth Factory was restored and refurbished as a 5* luxury hotel in September 2023. The architect in charge is Mrs María Jesús de Pablo Yagüe.
Main Strengths, Special Touch
One of its main strengths is the combination of staying in an original architectural jewel, while enjoying of the wellbeing and relaxation thermal waters. This hotel is surrounded by historical romantic gardens, which are officially recognized as part of the exclusive Sites of Cultural Interest (BIC).

Castilla Termal Brihuega is a truly unique spot, just 40 minutes’ drive from Madrid, in the most relevant area of lavender cultivation in Spain (commonly known as the “Spanish Provence”), which makes it a place of interest before the lavender is gathered because of the spectacular beauty of its landscape.

All of them preserve the elegance of the 18th C. Royal Cloth Factory. This historical environment offers a modern decoration, integrated with the vintage furniture without breaking the harmony and identity of this impressive building.

16 high quality superior rooms: 25 m2. They boast peaceful views of the town, gardens, or the valley.
23 deluxe rooms: 32 m2. Located on the upper floors, offering incredible views of the gardens, valley, and town. The interior design combines modernity and tradition, with robust wooden beams and meticulously designed avant-garde furniture.
38 junior suites: 40 m2. Sophisticated rooms with an integrated living room. They boast an original, fully preserved stone wall and large windows that look out onto the gardens, valley and town.

53 m2. Warm and elegant Suite filled with natural light. The spacious living room has two sofas, a coffee table and a desk with all the comforts you’d expect. It features a spacious bathroom with a shower and a sophisticated free-standing bathtub. The meticulous decoration enhances the industrial style found in the Royal Cloth Factory, combining this style with touches of stone and wood.

• Our Restaurant ‘La Redonda’ suggests market and seasonal gourmet kitchen. Local and seasonal raw materials get their maximum expression in dishes based on the tradition of Castilla La Mancha with sophisticated and delicious preparations designed by our chef to delight our guests’ senses. A unique experience for the palate in an elegant, spacious, bright and peaceful setting.
• Bars, lounges: our Gastrobar is the perfect place to try light, delicious dishes made with local seasonal products and enjoy food and unique flavours in a more informal menu.
Wellness
An extensive spa area where original baths have been restored to offer an exclusive experience, as well as the wellbeing and relaxation swimming pools. There is a large thermal pool, a jacuzzi, and outdoor pool and 11 lovely treatment cabins for exclusive massages, Vichy showers, rituals and wellness programmes.
