Domaine de Locguénolé & Spa
History & Story
Domaine de Locguénolé & Spa is a 19th-century château steeped in history, nestled on the banks of the Blavet river in southern Brittany. Once the private estate of a noble family, it became a hotel and has proudly been part of Relais & Châteaux since 1970. With its timeless charm, lush natural surroundings, and authentic soul, the Domaine embodies the very spirit of French hospitality and elegance.
Date Renewal
A complete renovation took place between 2020 and 2023 under the direction of acclaimed French architect Christophe Bachmann. The château and its outbuildings were entirely reimagined: all rooms and public areas were refurbished, combining heritage architecture with contemporary luxury. The interior design subtly blends classic references with modern materials and bespoke furnishings.
