History & Story
To check-in at the Jumeirah Capri Palace means to find yourself in a dimension where the concepts of art and hospitality converge effortlessly.
The first welcome is indeed given by the monumental sculpture-installation by Arnaldo Pomodoro, which recalls the atmosphere of the seabed with a colossal cuttlefish bone that runs along the entire entrance wall, interrupted by a few openings that allow to glimpse at the mosaic by Velasco Vitali inside the pool. At the actual entrance, the stoic and mysterious helmet by Mimmo Paladino officially marks the passage into the fascinating universe of the Jumeirah Capri Palace. A grille from a 17th century cloistered monastery enriches the Front Desk, next to which you can find a painting by Giorgio De Chirico, entitled Hector and Andromache. This true masterpiece represents another strong point of the Jumeirah Capri Palace’s rich artistic collection, exemplified in The White Museum, a true widespread museum that winds along all our common areas, internal and external.

Through Patricia Urquiola’s vision, the new rooms and suites capture what makes the island unforgettable, its light, its rhythm, its contrasts and that indefinable quality that stays with you long after you leave.
Each accommodation reveals a different perspective on the island. Some open onto lush gardens, others frame the blue sea and the Bay of Naples. Views become an integral part of the experience, creating different ways to connect with the landscape and discover Capri.
The new rooms mark an evolution in the visual identity of the hotel. Moving beyond the more traditional Mediterranean aesthetic and its iconic white and blue palette, Patricia Urquiola brings a new perspective to Capri. Natural textures, warmer tones, refined materials and handcrafted details create a more complete interpretation of the island: rooted in heritage, fresh in vision.
At the Jumeirah Capri Palace, the concept of art also recurs in our cuisine, which promises an exclusive gastronomic experience, finding its apex in L’Olivo, the two-starred Michelin restaurant led by our Executive Chef Andrea Migliaccio. To enjoy more smart casual moments, though not less sublime, guests can instead opt for a day at Il Riccio, our Beach Club & Restaurant nestled in the rock, just a few “strokes” away from the Blue Grotto, the famous aquatic nymphaeum of Emperor Tiberius.
Zuma Capri – The perfect place to experience modern izakaya menu and cocktails to the soundtrack of chilled house beats and unparalleled vistas of the Sorrentine Peninsula and Tyrrhenian Sea.
Furthermore, in order to taste the dishes of the Caprese and Neapolitan tradition, perhaps accompanied by a drink from our Bar degli Artisti.
The menu recommended by the Capri Medical Spa is also delicious, and it allows you to rationally and sensibly lose weight. In our Spa it is also possible to reserve a unique treatment, the famous Leg School®, patented by Prof. Francesco Canonaco and specifically designated for the leg care.

Location
Jumeirah Capri Palace is located in Anacapri, the most exclusive and unspoiled part of the island, nearly 1000 feet above sea level, overlooking the Mediterranean. Closest airport is Naples’ Capodichino International Airport. From there, in 20 minutes by car, one can reach the Naples’ harbour and then take a hydrofoil, ferry or private boat to reach Capri in about 50 minutes. An alternative could be a 15 min. helicopter transfer from the Naples’ Airport directly to Anacapri’s heliport.

A tennis courts is located within walking distance from the Hotel, as well as beautiful sites such as the chair lift to Monte Solaro Hill, the Red House Villa, the Axel Munthe’s Villa and the Church of St. Michael the Archangel.
