Maison Villeroy
History & Story
Tucked away in Paris’s prestigious Golden Triangle, Maison Villeroy embodies a rare vision of contemporary French luxury — intimate, residential, and deeply exclusive. More than a hotel, it is a private sanctuary where heritage, discretion, and bespoke hospitality converge to create one of the capital’s most confidential addresses.
Originally commissioned in 1908 by Maurice Villeroy, heir to the renowned Villeroy & Boch dynasty, the mansion was designed by celebrated architect Ernest Rahir as an aristocratic Parisian residence. Today, this Historic Monument has been meticulously restored by Voile d’Or Group, owner and operator of a curated collection of exceptional properties across Paris, London, New York, Courchevel, Saint-Tropez, and the French Riviera. Rooted in a philosophy of ultra-personalized hospitality and residential luxury, Voile d’Or transforms iconic properties into fully serviced private experiences tailored to the world’s most discerning clientele.
Behind Maison Villeroy’s elegant neoclassical façade lies an atmosphere of sovereign calm and refinement. With only 11 rooms and suites arranged around a luminous central atrium, the property offers the rare privilege of complete privatization, allowing guests to experience Paris as if in their own private hôtel particulier.
Every element of the residence reflects an uncompromising dedication to craftsmanship and detail. Bespoke furnishings by Promemoria, fine Italian linens by Rivolta Carmignani, Drouault bedding, and handcrafted Vispring mattresses elevate comfort to an art form. The interiors are enhanced by Pierre Bonnefille’s mineral creations, Calacatta marble fireplaces, intricate moldings, and rich dark-wood parquet floors, creating an atmosphere that is both timeless and deeply contemporary.
At the heart of the mansion, a spectacular sculptural staircase adorned with a gold-leaf wrought-iron balustrade rises beneath a constellation of 35 alabaster spheres imagined by Atelier Alain Ellouz — a luminous centerpiece that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Maison Villeroy: discreet grandeur, artistic excellence, and Parisian sophistication.
