History & Story
METT Marbella – Estepona is part of METT Hotels & Resorts, a hotel brand under the Sunset Hospitality Group. The first METT Hotel was established in Bodrum (Turkey), and the second is proudly ours: METT Hotel & Beach Resort Marbella-Estepona.
This 5-star lifestyle property boasts 249 elegantly designed guest rooms and suites surrounding Azure Beach’s heated pool, offering uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea. The experience is elevated with MOI Spa, Raise Fitness & Wellness, and a rich, varied dining scene that includes Isola Ristorante Italiano and Ammos Greek Restaurant.
Located on the iconic Costa del Sol shoreline, this destination is renowned for its stunning beaches, year-round wonderful climate, exciting leisure options, rich gastronomy, and vibrant entertainment—making it the perfect for guests to unwind and celebrate life.

The hotel has been fully renovated in August 2023 for the opening of the METT Marbella – Estepona by Sunset Hospitality Group Designers team.

We are close to the most charming and famous white villages of Andalucia (Casares,Gaucín,Jimena..) But the most important one, Ronda: One of Spain’s oldest and most picturesque cities with many experiences such as bullfighting, gastronomic delicacies from the region, wineries, olive oil experience, the most outstanding views to the Guadalevín River and much more…
We are also located between one and two hours drive to the main beautiful and cultural cities of Andalucia: Málaga, Sevilla and Granada. If you want to add some adventure to your stay, Caminito del Rey is one hour from us: an aerial trail constructed in the Gaitanes Gorge’s walls. It is a terraced route that runs alongside the gorge for 3km in total. The route travels through Antequera and ends at El Chorro. This route hangs on the sheer gorge cliffs. Golfers, you will like this. You have included one green fee in your stay at Guadalmina Golf Club, a very prestigious golf club in the area where only associates can play there. It offers two 18 holes golf courses and a par 3 nine-hole golf course, a covered driving range for 40 players and a chipping and putting green. All of this surrounded by a beautiful landscaping. For guests who just want to have a relaxed walk facing the sea, Senda Litoral is the perfect spot. Connects Manilva and Nerja by means of a long path (between 160 and 180 km long) and goes along the entire coast. Perfect for biking at sunset of a morning walk. If your passion is Tennis or Paddle, in front of us you can find the Villapadierna Racquet Club with 15 courts.
