Designed by the famous architect Theophil Edvard Hansen, the hotel welcomed visitors to the World Exhibition in 1873 and reopened in 2013 as part of Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group Kempinski.

Culinary delights are provided by the restaurants Die Küche Wien offering Viennese all-time favorites dishes. The 1 Michelin-starred restaurant EDVARD combines outstanding Alpine elements with Meditarranean influences showcasing the best selection of Austrian and Italian cuisine.
In the Lobby Lounge guests enjoy the famous Kempinski apple strudel besides all day snack options as well as our classic Afternoon Tea. Evenings are best spent in the Lobby Bar.
