Praia Art Resort was founded in 2012 by the Vrenna family with the vision of creating a destination capable of showcasing the authentic soul of Calabria through exclusive hospitality deeply connected to its surroundings. Originally featuring just eight rooms, the resort has gradually expanded to its current 32 rooms while preserving its identity as an intimate boutique retreat immersed in nature and overlooking the crystal-clear waters of the Capo Rizzuto Marine Protected Area.

Praia Art Resort was founded in 2012 by the Vrenna family with just eight rooms. Over the years, it has grown to 32 rooms while preserving the intimate atmosphere, authenticity, and personalized hospitality that define its identity today.

Every room at Praia Art Resort is unique. Hand-painted ceramic tiles crafted by local artisans, bespoke furnishings, and natural materials such as terracotta, stone, and iron create distinctive spaces, each offering its own interpretation of Calabrian and Mediterranean culture.
Art as a Defining Element
The entire resort was conceived by architect and designer Raffaele Vitale, who transformed local traditions and materials into contemporary design elements, creating a seamless dialogue between art, territory, and hospitality.
