Firmly rooted in Geneva cultural and social landscape, Hotel de la Paix has been witness to a multitude of historic world events since its opening in 1865. With only 74 guestrooms, its boutique size combined with a prominent lakeside location just steps away from the center of Old Town, has inspired memorable gatherings, from the Alabama Claims dinner in 1872, to a constant flow of high-profile guests across the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
