Fun Facts
Rosewood Schloss Fuschl has a rather unique initiative with Obauer, a local bakery in St. Gilgen, a small town within the Salzkammergut region: The bread that is not eaten during the day goes back to the bakery and is processed there into a high-quality, local bread gin which can then be found in our minibar.
The German actress Romy Schneider played in 1955 the central character of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, the Austrian Sissi trilogy, where Schloss Fuschl, with its lovely charm, served as the captivating backdrop for Sissi’s family residence. To honor this historic highlight, a museum with original objects of the Emperors family.
