Overlooking the UNESCO World Heritage Site of France’s celebrated Champagne wine region, Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa brings the area’s first world-class wellness destination to the vine-striped hills of Épernay, located only 20 minutes from Reims, the region’s largest city. A reimagined wine-country retreat spread across a Modernist wing and a 19th-century Post House, the 47-room hotel embraces its storied surroundings while offering guests holistic spa therapies with myBlend and Clarins Precious at its 16,000-square-foot wellness center, and offers Michelin-starred cuisine at Le Royal restaurant, led by Chef Christophe Raoux.. Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa is part of Boston-based Champagne Hospitality, a collection of boutique luxury hotels and spas that includes Le Barthelemy Hotel & Spa in St. Barths, Le 25Bis by Leclerc Briant in Épernay and Château La Commaraine in Burgundy, Pommard, scheduled to open in 2025.

The hotel is at the heart of the vineyards that stripe the hills of Epernay and the villages of Champillon and Hautvillers. Located 15 minutes from Reims and 10 minutes Epernay, Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa is a prime location to explore the region and visit Champagne cellars. Easily accessible by train, the hotel is only 45 minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport or Paris.

Champagne cellar tours from large Champagne houses to small wine makers can be organised by our Guest Experience Makers. You can also enjoy a cruise on the Marne, horse riding in the hills or hot air ballooning above the vines. For an original immersion, the hotel rents its electric bicycles for tours in the vineyards and to Hautvillers, birthplace of Champagne. The region is also well-known for its World War spots and the impressive Reims Cathedral for which we can organise private tours.

Perched with a 180-degree panorama overlooking the valley of Epernay and the Marne Valley, Le Bellevue restaurant offers a breathtaking view. This chic brasserie, always buzzing with activity, is adorned with a stunning display of a thousand crystal pendants suspended from the ceiling, transforming into radiant droplets of light as night falls. The Bellevue’s menu offers a glimpse of the diversity of France’s finest products, with a hint of international cuisine.
• Abysse Bar
We stop there from noon to one in the morning. To meet, have lunch, share. For a first drink at the counter, for the sacred aperitif. For a sunset, for the last drink too…
