The Reykjavik EDITION brings the first 5-star modern luxury experience to one of the world’s most sustainable capitals. Located in the historical, scenic heart of downtown Reykjavik, by Old Harbor port, and steps away from Laugavegur Street, the city’s vibrant shopping district, and the Harpa Concert and Conference Center. Alongside 253 rooms is a collection of distinct restaurants and bars, including the 7th-floor Rooftop at EDITION, which is an ideal spot from which to enjoy the bright summer nights as well as the spectacular northern lights in the colder months. The Hotel offers the perfect location from which to explore Iceland’s natural wonders.

• THE ROOF – Located on the hotel’s 7th floor, and offers panoramic mountain and ocean views. The best place from which to enjoy the endless bright summer evenings, as well as the magical northern lights in the colder months. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a large wrap-around seasonal outdoor terrace, scattered with comfortable seating, while the slick all-black interiors create a discreet background that doesn’t distract from the views.
• TIDES CAFÉ – Tides bakery and café – serves locally roasted coffee, brewed in-house. Alongside this is a selection of quick bites and fresh sandwiches, as well as freshly baked pastries. The café also serves delicious sourdough or rye bread sandwiches and grab-and go meals that you can eat in or take away.

All this alongside a full menu of treatments inspired by the Icelandic landscape and facilities including a hammam, steam room and sauna. Access fee per person is $30.
