Company History & Description
High above everyday life, 1,800 metres above sea level, there is a haven situated directly in the skiing and hiking area of Arosa that is the perfect place for relaxation and conscious enjoyment.
Design
The interior design, as colourful as it is surprising, was created by renowned interior designer Carlo Rampazzi.
Culinary
In culinary terms, guests can enjoy healthy, market-fresh dishes, haute cuisine as well as fine fast food in its four restaurants. The hotel’s own dine around offer provides a variety of culinary delights ranging from traditional dishes to gourmet cuisine.
Tschuggen Bergoase Spa
The 5,000 m2 Tschuggen Bergoase spa, designed by star architect Mario Botta, was built entirely into the mountain and offers four floors of outstanding wellness. With its futuristic sail windows, it forms an unmistakable visual landmark and offers 12 treatment rooms, private spa suites, various pools, saunas and steam baths, a fitness room and hairdressing salon as well as a medical wellness centre amid inspiring mountain scenery.
Moving Mountains Concept
Inspired by the fascinating landscape around its hotels, the Tschuggen Collection has created Moving Mountains – a holistic holiday experience. The programme consists of five pillars: MOVE – PLAY – NOURISH – REST – GIVE which aim to help you strengthen your vitality, rediscover nature and celebrate life. Guests are free to choose which pillars they would like to include.

Hotelsown Mountain Railway
Ski-in & Ski-out at its finest ! Everyone is a VIP on the Tschuggen Express, a private gondola which takes guests directly to the Arosa Lenzerheide hiking and winter sports area (ski in/ski out) in less than four minutes. The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is the only hotel in Switzerland with its own mountain railway which features two modern panorama cabins for four people. The Arosa Lenzerheide offers a wide range of sporting activities (mountain biking, hiking, tennis, golf, skiing) and the hotel’s own sports shop has the appropriate equipment available for either sale or rent.

Since 2024 the new Moutain Lofts have been built next to the main building and connecting our Spa. The Mountain Lofts are our largest suites offering sauna and kitchen inside as well as a luxury atmosphere in newest design.

The Tschuggen Grand Hotel offers culinary delights in the four restaurants: Grand Restaurant, La Brezza (open only in winter, awarded 2 Michelin stars and 19 GaultMillau points), La Collina and The Basement (open only in Winter) with conscious and market-fresh cuisine, haute cuisine or fine fast food.
La Brezza
Experience the high art of modern, gourmet cuisine. Chef Marco Campanella has not only been awarded two Michelin Stars and 19 GaultMillau points for his cooking at La Brezza Arosa but has also been named « Chef of the Year 2025” by GaultMillau Switzerland. Enjoy newly interpreted traditional Swiss and Italian cuisine alongside plant-based dishes.
La Collina
The name La Collina means hill or elevation in Romansh. And where better to enjoy superlative views? Savour our colourful range of dishes in a relaxed atmosphere, either on the sun terrace or the vibrant fresh decor of our Restaurant, both of which offer wonderful views of the Grisons mountains. Fresh, informal and with a touch of southern flair, La Collina is certain to fulfil your culinary expectations.
Grand Restaurant
The expansive windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscape at any time of day – whether in the morning, at midday, or in the evening. The sun-drenched terrace also provides the perfect setting to savour culinary highlights in a unique setting
The Basement
Local, high-quality food meets grandmother’s recipes and a real pinch of passion. The ambience is warm and relaxed, the cuisine tasty and honest, and a close collaboration with local, sustainable producers is a must.
Tschuggen Bar
After a day of sporting exertions, treat yourself to a well-earned refreshment in our bar. Relax as you savour a range of imaginative snacks and cool drinks. There is also live music or a DJ every evening, not to mention a great atmosphere. An exotic cocktail or a glass of sparkling champagne – the perfect ingredients to get a lively night off to a flying start!
Cigar Lounge
As Victor Hugo once said, “Tobacco turns thoughts into dreams”. So why not have a seat in our Cigar Lounge and enjoy our large selection of Cuban and Dominican cigars and cigarillos. And of course, the right cognac, rum or brandy will certainly not go amiss.
