A Love Letter to the Algarve. Viceroy at Ombria Algarve was envisioned as more than a resort—it is a tribute to the ancestral soul of the Algarve. Every detail of its design and philosophy reflects a deep respect for the land, its traditions, and its people. Inspired by the region’s whitewashed villages, terracotta roofs, and cobblestone streets, the architecture harmonizes with the Barrocal landscape, creating a sanctuary that feels rooted in history yet elevated by modern elegance.
This project celebrates authenticity: farm-to-table dining that honors local flavors, experiences that connect guests to artisans and nature, and sustainability practices that protect the environment for generations to come. From restoring river habitats to planting native trees, every action speaks of care and commitment. Viceroy at Ombria Algarve is not just a destination, it is a heartfelt homage to the Algarve’s timeless beauty, a living love letter written in stone, light, and hospitality.

Our design is a love letter to the Algarve, inspired by traditional hilltop villages. Sustainability first: powered by geothermal and solar energy, preserving nature. Local crafts live on through pottery and weaving workshops with Loule artisans. Honey with a story: workshops led by the sons of our Front Office Manager and our sheep wool workshop, guided by a local pastor using the most indigenous sheep breeds of the Algarve. And here’s a historical twist: the only building that once stood here was an ancient castle, making our location truly unique.

Our V Team Kids Club offers a dedicated space for creativity and fun, with activities like arts and crafts, cooking sessions, and cultural experiences inspired by the Algarve. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, children aged 4 and above can join independently, while younger ones are welcome with a parent or babysitter. With optional lunch service and personalized care, it’s the perfect spot for little explorers while parents relax.
