History & Story
• Orebić proudly showcases its rich and captivating maritime legacy. Over the centuries, this charming seaside village has been home to numerous successful sea captains who, mastering the seas, built stunning mansions and villas that charm the town today.
• Upon embarking on a journey to the region with a relief organization in 2001 to support the community of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Lee & Penny Anderson fused their empathy with their passion for the sea, culture, and cuisine to establish Korta Katarina. Their deep affection for Croatia, its people, and appreciation for maritime history served as the inspiration following a humanitarian mission in post-war Croatia
