El Perdido
History & Story
El Perdido is a small desert hotel in El Pescadero, Baja Sur, built around the idea that getting lost can be intentional. Low adobe walls, hand-finished plaster, reclaimed wood, woven textiles and open sky let the property settle into the landscape rather than stand apart from it. The guest experience is deliberately unstructured: quiet mornings, warm pool water, fire at dusk, live-fire dining and the Pacific a short drive away.
Date Renewal
Design refresh and repositioning underway in 2026, include a new entrance, wayfinding improvements, and continued development of El Coyote. As part of this work, ALA is assisting with the design and construction of a new lobby to improve the arrival experience and better align the property’s physical presentation with the hotel’s current positioning.
Date added extensions
Current focus is operational, design and guest-experience refinement rather than adding keys.

The name means “the lost one.” The property’s point of view is “discovered, not marketed.” There is no activity board and no forced programming. The desert, the firepit and the guest’s own pace are treated as the amenities.
