With over 20 years of experience, Atallah is an expert in delivering luxury service while focusing on growth and profitability. He previously served as the general manager at Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, where he successfully led the property through the pandemic and achieved record-breaking top-line revenues in 2022. Prior to that, Atallah worked for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for 10 years and spent 11 years with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts in prime locations such as Palm Beach, Vancouver, and Wailea.

More than five decades ago, Regent changed the face of luxury hospitality and set the new standard through innovation, extraordinary views, landmark destinations and exceptional service. We’re redefining what it means to be a luxury hotel by combining regent’s renowned legacy with the expertise of IHG hotels & resorts. Regent Santa Monica beach is set on a coveted coastline location, steps from the famed Santa Monica pier. The resort celebrates the beauty of unexpected harmony through contrasts, delivering inspired stays through a blend of serenity and a touch of decadence. The resort features sumptuous and tranquil rooms and suites, along with a stunning beachfront pool deck and wellness spa. Regent Santa Monica beach welcomes guests from near and far with unforgettable experiences including a restaurant concept created in collaboration with an acclaimed celebrity chef as well as a high-end artisanal marketplace.
Date Renovation
Beginning in 2023, the property underwent a 14 month, $150 million renovation by design firm, AVRO I KO, opening its doors under the Regent name in October of 2024.

Our resort offers 167 spacious rooms, including 34 opulent suites ranging from 720 sq ft to 3,200 sq ft, with patio or terrace options, outdoor fire pits, and kitchenettes. The hotel features Orla, a Mediterranean restaurant by Chef Michael Mina, Sweet July Café by Ayesha Curry for coffee and pastries, Azure Pool Bar, and 24-hour in-room dining. The Guerlain Wellness Spa offers a range of bespoke treatments and relaxation experiences, and the beachfront pool deck provides spectacular beach views.
