History & Story
Housed in the landmark Tontine Building at the corner of Wall and Water Streets, The Wall Street Hotel reimagines downtown new york as a refined, design-forward neighborhood stay. Owned by the Paspaley family, the hotel draws inspiration from the district’s pearl-trading history and the family’s pearling heritage, with interiors by Rose Ink Workshop. Food and beverage is led by chef John Fraser, including La Marchande and Lounge on Pearl, with rooftop gatherings at Bar Tontine.

Fun Facts
The hotel is in the historic Tontine Building, a name associated with the original Tontine Coffee House, an early hub of commerce in lower Manhattan. In 1792 the Buttonwood Agreement was signed in the Tontine Coffee House. The Buttonwood Agreement laid foundation and rule for the New York Stock Exchange.
