PROFILE & PHILOSOPHY

JG Collection is a leading UK sales representation company for a unique collection of independently and privately owned and managed hotels worldwide. Established in 2004 by John Green who was later accompanied in 2007 by Jo Beames, they have earned a reputation over the past two decades of providing clients and hotel partners an experience and knowledge that can only be achieved from working in some of the most prestigious properties in the luxury London hotel market. JG Collection can provide partners with either a sole charge sales & marketing effort, or equally work in harmony as a valuable extension to the in-house sales & marketing team.

JG Collection differentiate themselves in many ways, the company remains bespoke and therefore effective whilst at its core is our relationships. The company now has several Sales personnel and is very visible on behalf of members and has formed very strong partnerships with key industry players. Each property within the collection has been chosen for its superb location, eye catching design, personal service and award winning cuisine. Each team member has a breadth of experience from on property positions at DOSM and GM levels through to senior positions both agency and client side. The team’s varied experience further compliments the properties that we represent and ensures that they are considered a valuable extension of our properties in-house sales and marketing teams. Our combined team experience in the four key sectors: Leisure and Entertainment, Corporate and MICE provides a strong, harmonious extension to our members existing sales teams.

HISTORY

• 2004
John Green left his General Managers role @ The Hempel London to establish JGC Same year I met with Alessandra Ruggeri & Luca Magni to establish a partnership with Baglioni Hotels

• 2005
John & Joanne took dinner with Norbert Lieder then GM of Inverlochy and the owners and started our journey to establish Inverlochy Castle Management. John & Jo Wed at the Castle in Dec 2005!

• 2006
John Consulted/Freelanced with Shraeger hotels, Jurmerah, Great Eastern and Mandarin Oriental

• 2007
Visited an unknown Boutique property in Soho, New York @ 60 Thompson Street, and met with Pablo Migoya & Stephen Brandman, the rest is history ! Jo Beames, Director MICE joined JGC from Mandarin Oriental 2008 Started of partnership with ME in Barcelona, Madrid and Palacio di Isora

Partnered with Anna Pons and Andres Herves from Derby Hotels

• 2010
Partnered with Claudio Deli and Ziara D Biasso with Villa Cora and Why the Best Hotels

• 2012
Thompson partnered with Commune and we parted company …. Joanne Mannis joined as North Sales from Gleneagles

• 2013
Met Nicole Young and SBE became our partner in North America with SLS, Redbury and Raleigh Miami, Vegas and Bahamas Sally Turner joined for Leisure Sales and partnered with Roberto Pajares, Ampersand London

• 2014
Partnered With Panacea Koh Samui…… Charlotte Morris joined our MICE team

• 2015
Partnered with Pablo Migoya and Hotel Hugo, New York Victoria Whatley joined our Leisure team Daniela Moore joined as Co Ordinator from Muse NY
