MORE ABOUT THE SET COLLECTION ORIENTATION
The three founding members of The Set are found in distinguished addresses of their respective cities that are known for their cultural dynamism, vibrancy and forward thinking. These enviable locations allow guests to fully experience the locality of the city in which they are staying.
Modern grand hotels offering guests the latest facilities, amenities and technology alongside an impeccable service so that today’s contemporary traveller does not have to compromise on their luxury lifestyle.
Seamlessly combining traditional architecture with contemporary design, The Set works with pioneering architects and visionary interior designers to create the modern grand hotels of our time. The Set continues to build on each property’s heritage, creating a legacy for the future.
All three founding members have a historical and cultural heritage unique to themselves. For decades, they have been the meeting place for great minds to convene, converse and sculpt the world we live in today.
Continuing to stand proudly at the heart of the local community, each hotel is the pulse of its destination. This is illustrated in the design of the hotels, the culinary experiences and the team – all of which are authentic to their location and reflect their locality.
Signature Suites at The Set have been individually designed to provide unique and memorable experiences in each city. Spacious living areas, enviable bathrooms and inspiring terraces give an unrivalled glimpse of the city.
Gastronomy remains at the heart of The Set and offers a way to learn something new about the destination. In each hotel, the cuisine encapsulates local flavours, whether they be contemporary Asian cuisine reflecting both the old and reincarnated Silk Route in Amsterdam, afternoon tea in London or brasserie dining in Paris with a three Michelin-starred chef at the helm. The desire is to inspire, delight and create memorable culinary experiences for all who dine with us.
At The Set, wellness and wellbeing are considered fundamental to promoting health, happiness and fulfilment. The Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Centre is an urban sanctuary within every hotel, offering guests transformative and balancing experiences where body, mind and soul are aligned.
For decades, our buildings have been the epicentre of celebrations, entertainments and places for people to revel in new discoveries. The fabled history of Café Royal in London has a rich list of famous patrons and notable events to match, the Conservatorium has heard the future great musicians of the world learn their craft whilst writers, poets, actors and jazz greats have all graced the Lutetia.
Through carefully curated luxurious experiences, we want our guests, both local residents and city visitors alike, to be engaged, inspired and transformed. It is this connection with our guests that elevates the hotels as the Living Room of each city. ‘Joie de Vivre’ is in our nature and extends across everything that we do.
The inspiring environments coupled with the bespoke individual experiences is why a stay at The Set hotels is always ‘beautifully composed’.
