Jastam House
Description
Located in the West of Mahé and a 20- minute drive away from the Capital, Jastam House is carved out of the pristine beachfront of un-spoilt land of Anse Barbarons. Jastam House, named so using the anagram of the family members, is privately tucked away onto 8-acres of its own garden of Eden affording complete exclusivity, privacy, and absolute luxury.
Completed in 2002, it offers a classical neocreole-colonial style home, built around a spectacular central patio with a 12-metre-high roof, dotted with a unique and eclectic collection of oceanic art from Africa, Polynesia, Papua New Guinea & Australia and perfectly decorated with mahogany colonial furniture. Existing endemic trees and plants were preserved whilst a network of paths and walkways were designed to enable discovery walks of its mesmerizing tropical gardens.
Spread over 8 acres, Jastam House boasts one of the most beautiful gardens in Seychelles. Hundreds of endemic and herbal plants intertwined with tropical flowers can be found on every piece of available land! Not to mention our very own herb & vegetable garden. Our villa host will be happy to take you on an exploratory and informative walk around the property.
The secluded property offers a Main Residence with three ensuite bedrooms each with its own unique identity, a formal living area and a fully stocked bar, entertainment area with a pool table, a library with a collection of unique reads, a contemporary and fully equipped kitchen with its very own private chef and a dining room fit to host up to 12 family and friends.
Hidden in the lush vegetation, lies an additional three independent generously sized ensuite villas, a fully equipped gym and a large private pool with an outdoor dining area.
The exquisite 600m white powder beach offers refreshing swims and a breath-taking outlook of the bay and with the sun slowing bidding goodbye to the world as it sinks into the vast ocean of Anse Barbarons, the gold and orange hues casting a romantic and soothing glow on the glittering ocean, you will be left mesmerised by the tranquillity of this divine moment and enchantment of Jastam House.

Child Policy
Jastam House is a treasure trove of amazing finds for the children to spot using their personalised guides dedicated to the flora, fauna and animals that Jastam House has to offer. Our gorgeous wooden Bali play house is also the perfect distraction for your little ones to pretend play and to enjoy a little gourmet picnic. Children must be always supervised especially outdoors around the pool area.
Pet Policy
We will be happy to accommodate your furry friends though we do advise that guests check the quarantine policies of the Seychelles prior to travel.

The gated property is fully fenced with security personnel on site. Guests can relax in tranquillity and with peace of mind.
Welness
The gym is fully equipped with perfect views of the garden to keep you motivated during your workout. Personal training or yoga sessions are available upon request.
Alternatively, enjoy a refreshing swim at the swimming pool with the beautiful sounds of cascading water which, also boasts a gorgeous outdoor space with complete privacy including an outside bar & dining terrace, a covered barbecue area and a lounge area.

Jastam House provides the perfect setting for celebrating those special moments that is guaranteed to offer a lifetime of unforgettable memories. With stunning sunset backdrops for a beautiful ceremony, an alfresco dinner beneath the stars with the melodic sounds of the waves or the stunning traditional colonial architecture, harmonised with outstanding service and exquisite cuisine, guests can rest assured that every detail will be delicately taken care of. Event planners in Seychelles are available on request for supplementary tailored and customised events.
Events are reserved for in-house guests only.
Extra Services
Additional activities that are not included in the rate but are available upon request for guests to enhance their experience of the Island are, scuba diving, surfing, island hopping, guided tours and fishing or boat trips.
Spa services, personal training and yoga classes may also be arranged upon request.
Number of staff on property
12 staff members are available exclusively for the guests. They will be cared for by our amazing villa hosts who will not only be attentive to every guest but also go above and beyond to ensure an amazingly memorable stay. Our talented private chef with years of knowledge in multi-cultural cuisines will also be delighted to prepare a gourmet menu to suit any palate or any allergies that guests may have. Our team of housekeepers will keep the villa to its highest standards whilst the gardeners maintain the upkeep of Jastam’s lush gardens.
