Child Policy
• Children of all ages are welcome, provided that they remain under the supervision of their parents or guardians throughout the charter.
• Vela is well equipped to accommodate children, with a selection of child-friendly activities on land, at sea and on board.
• Two sofas in Vela’s lower deck staterooms can be converted into sofas suitable for children up to 10 years old.
Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed on board Vela.
Safety Policy
Vela follows the standards set by the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS). The boat is equipped with the latest navigation and emergency transmission systems. A fire suppression system and backup manual pump are available onboard, along with fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, fire alarms and smoke detectors. The galley and engine room are equipped with specialized fire suppression systems. Life jackets are available throughout the boat, along with two life rafts (25 pax capacity). The crew is certified, have undergone safety training, and safety drills are performed with and without guests on board.
