History and story
The story of Château de Chanet is deeply rooted in family history. Once the only hotel in the region, it became a cherished retreat for many, including Laetitia, who spent her honeymoon there. Over the years, several of Laetitia’s family members also found solace within its walls. Captivated by its charm and history, Laetitia eventually acquired the Château with a vision: to restore it to its former glory and share this hidden gem with the world.

Château de Chanet has a rich history of renovations, beginning in the renaissance, continuing into the 18th century, and further evolving after Laetitia Morlat acquired the property in 2002. Under her care, the Château has seen numerous updates, culminating in a recent, exquisite redecoration. Now fully restored, every detail reflects Laetitia’s personal touch. In collaboration with Christophe Boucher, an artist with whom she has worked for over 20 years, the Château’s beams and walls have been hand-painted to weave a unique story throughout the estate.
