Inspired by the desire to offer an alternative and sustainable accommodation, Clos l’Abbé*****& Spa is a private Estate that combines high-quality hotel services and a wide selection of tailored services provided by the Conciergerie.
The 300 m² property is set in one and half hectare of grounds with plenty of space for relaxing and create unforgettable memories.
The intimate setting of Clos L’Abbé́ is ideal for enjoying life’s pleasures. Spend precious time with friends and family in the welcoming living spaces of this historic country house.
The decor combines authenticitý with̀ earthy, natural, quality materials that reflect the original style and contemporary touches.
The house can accommodate up to eight guests.
There are two suites – one nestled beneath́ the curves of the original attic roof – and two double rooms. All rooms are fully equipped and enjoy views over the grounds. Both living rooms have open fires and comfortable furniture. The original floor tileś have been preserved and restored using traditional techniques.
Bask in the sun on the generous open-air terraces̀ – one is in earshot of the soothing sounds of the waterfall. The forest is home to several hundred-year-old trees, but you will also find American tulip trees, chestnuts, hazel and cherry trees a huge fig tree, a few rabbits and maybe the odd squirrel.
After a long walk, sink into the leather and Chesterfield sofas to admire the views of the estate, including the majestic 340-year-old lime tree.

Clos L’Abbé offers a large selection of experiences. Date of construction and last renovation
Clos L’Abbé is a large mansion in traditional Normandy style, set in the original eighteenth-century grounds and nestled in wooded parklands in a typical Normandy village.
The Property has been fully restored in 2017 to its former glory with the assistance of skilled local craft workers, who have put heart and soul into the renovation project. The new owners fell in love with this charming house, then dedicated over two years to creating a place that could offer guests a unique experience.
The Spa was designed and built in 2020.
The architecture is a harmonious blend of modern, traditional and technology. High-quality materials such as wood, stone and slate are used in simple yet natural arrangements.

Equipment and spaces with free access must not be used by children without the supervision of their parents (swimming pool, sauna, hammam, gym, fireplace, and others).
Please lock the doors and windows during the night and when you leave the House.
For your safety, a video surveillance system is installed outside of the House.
Safety boxes are available in each room for your personal effects.
Clos L’Abbé is not responsible for lost, forgotten or stolen items in the House. However, we will do our best to help you should anything happen to your belongings.
Special Pool – Sauna – Hammam policy
No beverage or liquids in the pool area.
Glass objects are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
Children are under the exclusive supervision of a responsible parent. Doors and bay windows must remain closed. Access to the wellness area is prohibited for unaccompanied children.
Keep the pool access door and bay windows closed to maintain the air and water temperature.
The hammam and sauna cabins must be kept closed. These are self-managed and turn on-off automatically.

Clos L’Abbé offers a separate 200m2 Spa suite. The spa is a special, private space dedicated to relaxation and well-being. An exclusive suite to recharge batteries in a wonderful setting.
The majestic antique main door made of solid wood and ironwork sets the tone. The decor has been designed to complement the property’s spirit and style, with a subtle blend of tradition and modernity. Driftwood, marble and stone tiles create an unusual and welcoming environment. You will find a Louis XV bench seat, cabriolet armchair and Renaissance trunk in the reception area, all lovingly restored.
Heading to the right, you pass the gym room on your way to the pool area. Large French windows open onto an outdoor terrace and bathe the swimming pool in natural light. The pool area includes a hot tub, plus a Finnish sauna with a Himalayan salt wall, steam room and lounge with tea bar. Rest awhile on the two huge benches made of exotic wood.
The well-being suite and double treatment room are to the left of the entrance. This section is housed in a very old building – the original building features have been preserved wherever possible. The stone walls and ancient wood beams have been restored. The cosy treatment room includes a private bathroom.
Guests can book a selection of specialist massages and treatments with our therapists, who use products from our partner brands – Phytomer and L’Odaïtès – for unforgettable spa rituals. Our Little Darlings ritual gives our younger guests a chance to enjoy their own spa experience.

Clos L’Abbé offers a large choice of tailored services including private in-house chef service on demand. For greater privacy, Clos L’Abbé can arrange to have delicious meals, buffets and other foodstuffs delivered. All dishes are made from scratch using fresh seasonal produce.
To complement meals, Clos L’Abbé recommends a selection of ciders, Pommeau and calvados from La Maison Hérout, a pioneering organic cider maker that uses traditional cider-making technics.
Of course, talented cooks may prefer to use the FULLY EQUIPPED kitchen themselves. That said, it can be a real pleasure to wake up to find breakfast all laid out, the table laden with delicious local products.
Normandy is home to many products with registered designations of origin and is famous for its oysters and shellfish.
The variety of local products will delight food lovers of all ages.
