A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation, with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. Deposits are non-refundable if we are unable to resell the booked dates.

Property type
Large house/Villa, 7,000 sq feet over two floors, located on the Ballynahinch Castle Estate., just a short stroll from the hotel.
Date of building and last renovation
Built in 1977 and fully renovated in 2019, including a new kitchen, bathrooms, and a new façade. A wonderful outdoor terrace was also added during the 2019 renovation.
Maximum occupancy
10 people, 5 bedrooms, three with king beds, two which can be twin or king. No extra beds are permitted.
Location and Key sites
Located on the Ballynahinch Castle Estate, a short stroll from the hotel and its facilities, including the Fisherman’s Pub (serving lunch & dinner daily) and the Owenmore fine dining Restaurant serving breakfast & dinner daily. Reservations are required for Lodge guests wishing to dine in the hotel.
On-site estate activities must be booked in advance and with an additional fee, including fly fishing, clay shooting, and guided hiking or cycling.
Bicycles are complimentary for guest use but must be booked in advance.
The estate also has over 10 miles of river & woodland walking trails and a walled garden which guests can explore at their leisure. Picnics or a firepit experience in the walled garden are also available for purchase.
Child Policy
Children are welcome in the house with a maximum of two cots (cribs) for children under 2 years. We can also provide highchairs if required.

Safety Policy
This is a private residence on the Ballynahinch Estate. It has two access points, the main entrance and a pedestrian entrance both accessible via electric gates ensuring the residents have full privacy. The house also has an alarm and is fully compliant with all health & safety requirements, including smoke alarms, fire blankets & extinguishers.

Property description
• 5 individually designed bedrooms with private bathrooms.
The master bedroom is located on the ground floor with magnificent mount views and is over 1,300 sq feet and includes a large dressing room. The bathroom has double-hand basins, a walk-in shower, and a separate roll-top bathtub. The remaining four bedrooms are located on the first floor, each with a private bathroom and a walk-in shower. Two bedrooms have views of the mountains with king beds, the remaining two bedrooms can be king or twin and have views of the private gardens.
• Large kitchen/diner with a large island and all the equipment a novice cook or private chef will need to cook dinner for a large party. The house also has a separate dining room, lounge with an open log fire, games room with a billiard table, and office. It also enjoys a gym, laundry facilities, two guest WCs, and a guest shower room.
• Large private gardens with barbeque facilities available.

Celebration events
• Small celebration events are permitted for up to a maximum of 10 guests, all staying on the property.
The property is sold on a self-catering basis. For a booking of 7 nights, a housekeeping service is provided once during the stay for bedrooms & bathrooms. Fresh towels are available at any time during a guest’s stay.
