The lush gardens, meanwhile, have been designed by leading landscape architect Marco Bay.

Description
Originally known as Villa Odero, this majestic building was commissioned by the eponymous entrepreneur Attilio Odero to the great Tuscan architect Gino Coppedè in 1912. Designed as a summer residence in Coppedè’s signature style, the property is set in one of the most extraordinary locations on the Gulf of Portofino – a promontory just above Punta Caiega, where it commands breathtaking views over the Ligurian Riviera.
Launching in July 2025 under the helm of Splendido, A Belmond Hotel, Portofino Villa Beatrice will become the pinnacle of luxury in the Italian Riviera. Hosting up to 10 guests across its 5 suites, the property has been renovated by acclaimed designer Martin Brudnizki and features frescoed ceilings, terrazzo and terracotta floors, arched windows, and beautifully landscaped gardens. It boasts a spacious terrace with bar area, an outdoor pool and plunge pool, wellness open air pavillion, elegant interiors filled with natural light and stylish furnishings. Surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, it offers a private, serene atmosphere while being just a short distance from Portofino’s iconic Piazzetta and prestigious boutiques.

Fun Facts
The Villa was originally commissioned by the famous Ligurian entrepreneur Attilio Odero, one of the most important industrialists of the 20th century. It was designed in 1912 by the great Tuscan architect Gino Coppedè, who employed his signature design approach: a fascination with Gothic Revival combined with Art Nouveau’s clever use of new materials and techniques.
Between the two wars it has been the summer residence of Enrico Piaggio, the enlightened entrepreneur who put Italians in the saddle of the Vespa, and later the Agnelli family.

Small pets are welcome in the rooms and outdoor areas of Villa Beatrice. Pet bed and water bowl provided. Is is recommended to keep pets on a leash on the villa grounds.

The Villa is the perfect peaceful oasis for a group of friends or families, just a few steps away from Portofino and the main regional attractions, such as Cinque Terre.
Families can benefit from 6,000 sq of lush gardens, private sea access, private gym and private pool. Baby sitting services can be arranged upon request and kids can also enjoy complimentary access to Splendido’s kid club. Teens can enjoy a TV room and library in the Villa, as well as a range of games such has backgammon and Monopoly in the Villa.

At 9m long and 2m wide, it’s perfect for a refreshing dip while admiring the 180-degree views of the surrounding bays. • Because the property is sold as a single unit (« one key ») encompassing all five rooms, reservations always include the entire villa.
• Regarding events, it has been determined that the venue can accommodate up to 30 people and we will be glad to organize events exclusively for guests staying in the property.
