Latest Renovations
The restoration was completed in 2018 and the villa was first rented in 2021. The young architect Alessandra Cipriani from Florence worked hard to maintain a strong presence of architectural tradition. Original terracotta cross and barrel vaults mixed in the rooms on the ground floor. A tailor-made kitchen with refined style, fine materials and timeless shapes. A renovated stone staircase that brings to the first floor, where the five bedrooms are laid out, each with an en suite bathroom. The structure is distinguished by the elegance of its lines and shapes, which have been designed to make the most of every single space, whilst admiring the fascinating combination of light, nature, tradition and the absolute excellence of both the materials and the furniture elements.

Description
La Quercia was the original name of the villa, dating back to 1794, when it was a farmhouse for the Rossi Family. Originally made of a main building and two annexes, one of the annexes has been demolished over time. Up until the 1960s, families used to live in farmhouses in the area and produce everything they needed on-site.
The building was constructed with local materials. On the ground floor were the stables and cellars and on the first floor there were the rooms for the family.
Next to the main entrance of the house was the original bread oven that has been fully restored nowadays.

Located in the so-called “golden triangle” the villa is perfectly positioned to explore Florence, Siena and Pisa, all within 1hr drive. Closer towns like San Gimignano and Voterra can be reached in 30 minutes, making it a perfect base to visit the region.
The house has been meticulously restored to the highest standard, with great attention to detail and all modern conveniences. The annexe offers a multifunctional space for guests to relax and spend some quality time together. The villa is immersed in the Castelfalfi Golf Course (currently under full renovation) and it is just a few minutes away from the medieval borgo with boutiques and restaurants, perfect for those who don’t want to drive too far to enjoy a typical Tuscan meal. There are also plenty of biking and hiking trails, an adventure park for children from age 5 and above, and horse riding facilities nearby.

Children are always welcome and the villa can provide high chairs and baby cots. Within a 10min drive from the villa is Castelfalfi Adventure Park suitable from 5yrs old.
