History & Story
The storied history of Edgewood Tahoe Resort began 150 years ago on the shores of Lake Tahoe, where the Park family settled as cattle ranchers. In 1968, Edgewood Golf Course was created by world-renowned architect Tom Fazio, becoming a premier destination for golfers and home to national tournaments like the American Century Championship. Inspired by the historic lodges of National Parks, the Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe was unveiled in 2017. This 154-room retreat offers luxurious amenities, including a spa, premium shopping, and award-winning dining, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains. In 2022, the resort expanded with the introduction of the Villa Suites, representing the next evolution of Lake Tahoe luxury. These lakeview villas fulfill Edgewood’s long-time dream to offer the ultimate alpine experience, blending casual comforts with unparalleled refinement for discerning guests worldwide.

Fun Facts
Beyond our mission of being a world-class, one-of-a-kind luxury resort lies something infinitely more important, our responsibility to safeguard the precious environment that surrounds us. Every decision we make and action we take must align with our calling to be stewards of the land, guardians of the Lake, and sincere, difference-making corporate citizens of the communities in which we operate. And our credo is a simple one: To continually minimize our environmental footprint and ensure that this pristine area is just as pristine for those who come after us, as it was for those who came before us.
Children policy & services :
All children are welcome throughout the resort, however they must be under parental supervision at all times. Although we do not have a kids club, we do have many kid friendly activities throughout the year and can be found on the guest experiences page on our website.
